I cannot praise the Fez Food Tour with Asmae enough! I am not a foodie but was looking to discover how food and cooking have a place in Moroccan culture as it seems to be such an intrinsic part. I learnt this and so much more thanks to my foodie expert Asmae. One of the many highlights was visiting the honey souk, learning about the importance of honey in Islam and its healing properties. The tour provides a local’s insight into medina life. It became a cultural tour as much as a food tour, which was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for making my time in Fez unforgettable!

Pleasure of meeting Siham in 2018 when we spent a wonderful two weeks there. Siham speaks excellent English, and she was so knowledgeable about her country, and especially Fez. Through her guidance, we were able to experience the culture, history, geography and so much more about Morocco. Siham is so enthusiastic about guiding others to experience a spectacular travel experience. She has a very warm, pleasing personality, and she is patient and kind with a fun sense of humor! We felt totally at ease with Siham and her expertise in guiding us to new adventures and experiences in Morocco!

Meryem was one of our tour guides for our trip to Morocco in 2018. We had an excellent food and cultural tour of the medina in Fez, with Meryem educating us on the different areas of the market. She was very excited to teach us about the different spices, teas, honey, produce and meat, as well as the very interesting community bakery. We were able to sample special soups, cheeses and other Moroccan specialties. Meryem spoke English very well. She knew so many of the shop owners, and we were able to meet many of these wonderful Moroccans! She made us feel so comfortable on the tour with her confidence and knowledge of the medina! We highly recommend Meryem as a tour guide for any travel experience in Morocco!

I had the great pleasure of working with this tour company named Culture Insider to plan a long awaited trip to Morocco. I chose them very carefully. The communications were so easy as they are fluent at English and very responsive along every step of the way. They were open to planning the whole tour or just a portion of it. As an experienced international traveller and previous airline employee I thought I could plan part of the tour independently. I changed my mind and had them take over the entire two week tour. My tour was custom made to perfection.

Four of us took the Fez Food Tour with a wonderful guide named Meryem. She gave us an insider’s look at the culture of Morocco through its fabulous food. The tour involved wandering through the medina enjoying a variety of small portions. We would never have been able to find these shops on our own. All four of us enjoyed everything. When we return to Morocco we will take the same tour again. Thank you, Meryem, you were a delight.

A trip to Morocco had always been on my wish list. The staff of Culture Insider made my dream come true. Having experienced the culture I knew I had to return for a second visit. I had fallen in love with colors, food, artwork, architecture, history and people. Morocco was all I had hoped it would be.
